RAPID MkI
.177, .20 and .22 calibres 12ft/lbs or FAC
This is the air rifle made for the hunter. Pull back the
bolt and the pellet is into place. Close the bolt and you are ready to
fire. All this can be done in a second without taking your eye from the
scope. This ultra quiet hunting rifle is devastating in any shooting
situation. The world class Anschütz barrels fitted to .177 and .22
calibres and selected Walther barrels on .20 and .25 calibres see to that
. Seven or twelve shots in .22 cal, twelve shots in .20 and .25 or 17
shots in .177 calibre can be taken with deadly accuracy with minimum fuss,
utilising the same faultless magazine system proven on the SLR 88/98.

RAPID MkII

The Rapid Mk II is capable of 420 shots
per charge in .22 calibre at 12ft/lbs.
The Rapid MkII makes an excellent addition
to the original Rapid range and is fitted with new and improved features.
Our new design of regulator (patent applied) is fitted
to all 12ft/lbs versions. The FACs are fitted with our ‘fast-flow’
adaptor and have enlarged ‘thru-porting’. These new and improved
features have increased the shots per charge available from a 400cc bottle
from between 50% and 150% compared to the original Rapid range. The shot
to shot consistency is also improved - all calibres and powers have a shot
variation of approximately ±1%.
Fitted with our superb two stage adjustable trigger with
a manual safety. The .177 and .22 calibres also feature Anschütz barrels.
Selected Walther barrels are fitted to .20 and .25 calibres. This ensures
the Rapid range continue to be one of the most accurate PCP’s on the
market today.
A brand new Walnut stock has been designed for this
rifle, with contoured roll over cheek piece and integral trigger guard.
The forend is shaped so the flowing lines make a smooth transition with
the buddy bottle. With a chequered pistol grip and ventilated recoil pad
it certainly feels as good as it looks! The second stock option is the
CS800 stock (see pics below). This is a thumbhole stock with a chequered
pistol grip and internal trigger guard.

The extended forend of the walnut
stock gives your leading hand a comfortable place to support the
rifle ‘up in the aim’, so you do not have to hold the buddy
bottle.
Available with a right hand CS800 thumbhole stock (right).

| The full length, integral
silencer gives the look of a bull barrel. Its purpose is to disperse
the air down the full length of the barrel, causing the sound to
dissipate. This makes the silencer exceptionally quiet. For extra
silencing, there is an MFR silencer with attaches directly onto the
end of the integral silencer. |
The 12ft/lbs regulator has been extensively worked on
and is much more consistent than previous versions. (The FAC rated MFR is
not fitted with a regulator). With this much improved airflow it has given
us the chance to go back to a 280cc bottle giving the rifle a slimmer look
but keeping a very high number of shots per charge.

The trigger cartridge was computer modelled
and designed. This fully adjustable two stage match grade
trigger can easily be removed. The safety catch is manually set
and the pull is comfortable in any shooting situation, though a
trigger shoe can be fitted if preferred. (Optional 'Field
Target' straight-bladed pull also available).

In combining the versatility of the Rapid MFR,
the vast number of shots of the Rapid MkII and adding some impressive new
features, we have created the S-Type.
The S-Type can be fitted with any
one of our patented magazines

The scalloped loading port of the
Rapid MFR was a simple idea and was well-received as it allows
three methods of loading; manual loading direct into the breech,
using the single shot holder and finally using one of our
patented multi-shot magazines making the MFR very versatile. So
we have carried this popular feature over in the design of the
S-Type.

| The
regulator, fitted to both 12ft/lbs and FAC versions, has been
ameliorated, making it much more consistent than previous
versions. With this much improved airflow and choosing the 500cc
(400cc also available) buddy bottle we are able to produce a massive
700 shots per charge in .22 calibre at 12ft/lbs. Even more
reasuring is the inclusion of our new internal air particle filter
to prevent debris passing through the high pressure air spaces to
give maximum reliability. We are so proud of the S-Type we are
happy to give a 3-year warranty. |

Due to
popular demand, the S-Type is the first model of Rapid that comes
complete with a bi-pod. We found that using a barrel or bottle
mounted bi-pod can cause adverse effects with accuracy (which
defeats the object of using such a device!) So we have recessed an
accessory rail into to the fore-end of the Walnut stock. This
descreet gismo can be used for the Deluxe Harris Bi-pod (pictured)
which is supplied with this model or our quick detachable sling
swivel, which can be purchased seperately.
