Supersport
Since its launch, the Supersport has become one of
BSA’s best selling models. Famed as the rifle of the 90’s, it
continues BSA’s success story into the new millennium. This break barrel
air rifle is the perfect combination of weight and power - at slightly
over 61/2 pounds, it still
pushes out up-to-the-limit muzzle energy! A must for all types of
shooting.
Lightning
Based on
the phenomenally successful ‘Supersport’ action, the Lightning
features a special 10" barrel and maxi-grip scope rail, as
well as a high-efficiency Volumetric silencer. The result is a lightweight
airgun which packs a punch and handles like a dream!
Lightning XL
The BSA Lightning XL is based on what is
probably the most popular British made spring rifle of recent times.
The action is the same tried and tested favourite that has graced the
hunting field since it's introduction in the late 90's, but there the
similarity ends.
The
stock has been stylishly re-designed to improve further the balance and
handling of the rifle, with a higher cheek piece which raises the natural
head position for better eye to scope alignment; while scopes
are mounted on BSA's patented Maxigrip scope rail, with it's built in
shock absorption system. Crisply chequered panels on the pistol grip
and forend ensure a secure hold, while under the pistol grip the world
famous BSA Piled Arms logo has been engraved as a subtle reminder of the
companies proud heritage. The barrel has been shrouded in a full
length bull barrel silencer which tapers purposely towards the breech, and
helps give the XL that famous stability "on aim" for which
BSA rifles are rightly famed.
But perhaps the biggest change is the trigger which has
been completely re-engineered to offer the shooter control which is truly
breathtaking. A two stage precision unit which is adjustable for the
individual shooters preferred weight of pull, this trigger is a
masterpiece which must be experienced to be fully appreciated.
