When FX launched the multi-stage hand pump in 1993 it was years ahead of it time. The modern day three-stage FX pump has built on that creation, providing a hand pump which is 30% more efficient than any other pump on the market.

15 years of experience have now culminated in the ultimate FX pump. The FX Four-stage pump has a totally unique gearing system you will not find in any other pump. This allows the user to 'change gear' depending on whether they want high volume (with lower pressure) or high pressure (with lower volume).

This enables the user to fill the air tube rapidly with over 300cc of air per stroke and then change down gear (less than 200cc per stroke) to reach recommended fill pressure with ease.

The result: you can fill your air tube Fastr, fuller and with much less effort!

Of course there's more to the FX pumps than that. Both models contain a built in moisture trap, which means you do not have the inconvenience or expense of changing additional 'dry packs'. The pumps mechanism has been endurance tested by machine so you can be sure of many years trouble free use.

Having your own High Pressure Air Cylinder makes so much sense. Clean, dry, oil free breathing quality air is so much better for your PCP Air Weapon than the air from even the best Stirrup pumps. However, be cautious about the cylinder you choose. Many air cylinders being offered have a maximum working pressure of 232 bar or in some cases 207 bar. These are fine but with your average PCP Rifle requiring a 200 bar fill, the number of fills can be limited.

Guns 'n' Stuff only supply air cylinders with a 300 bar working pressure and DIN type fittings. This effectively provides 14-times more air than the 207 bar cylinders ad 3-times more than a 232 bar for the same size cylinder (ltrs). That's up to 14-times more gun fills and up to 14-times less trips to have your cylinder filled. This also represents terrific savings.

example - Lets say you have a PCP Rifle that is filled to 200bar and a 12 ltr 232 bar cylinder. You have it filled 6 times/year at an cost of say £4.00/fill. That's 6 trips to your local shop X £4 = £24. Now if you have a 12ltr 300bar cylinder you would only have 2 trips to your local shop for a fill and at £4.00 it would cost £8, saving you £16/year and however much fuel is saved by the number of trips to fill it up.

Obtaining air is the next issue. Most good dive shops and fewer Gun Shops can fill air cylinders. However, the majority of these only have the capacity to fill to 232 bar.
